Today in class:
Once again we had NECAP testing. We only have one more session to go!!!
Language Arts: We read the chapter Rose. We discussed how difficult it must be for students from foreign countries to adjust to the change in their lives. We also imagined what it would feel like if we were suddenly dropped in a country where we didn't speak the language and all we wanted to do was order a sandwich. How tricky that could be.
We also finished up our Show Me poetry which is a reading of their illustrated poems which will be on display tomorrow night at the community dinner. I hope you can all attend.
Students had some time to use Khan Academy to practice math skills.
In math class we worked on their data questions and helped students find data to support their questions for their projects. there is a link in October 8th to some interesting data.
